BYD Yuan Plus Smart Driving Edition Launches Soon
BYD Yuan Plus Smart Driving Edition will hold its launch event on March 5 at 15:00. As the launch approaches, details about the new model’s configurations have been revealed. The Yuan Plus Smart Driving Edition will be available in five variants, including two models with a 430km range and three models with a 510km range.
In terms of comfort, the entire Yuan Plus Smart Driving Edition lineup comes standard with an enlarged 8.8-inch instrument display, upgraded electronic gear shift, Yuan Power Comfort seats (with split headrests), and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Mid-to-high-end models also feature a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated and ventilated front seats, dual rear storage compartments, and a power tailgate. The top-tier model is even equipped with a built-in car refrigerator.
For smart driving, all models come standard with the advanced “God’s Eye C” intelligent driving system, offering high-speed navigation assist, lane-change assist via turn signal, lane navigation, valet parking, remote parking, automatic parking, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring.
Regarding intelligent safety features, the entire lineup is equipped with the DiLink 100 smart cockpit, supporting 5G connectivity, full-scene intelligent voice control, navigation, and 3D vehicle control. Mainstream models come with a 12.8-inch central control screen, while higher-end versions feature a 15.6-inch screen. Additionally, all models include intelligent power on/off, 50W air-cooled wireless phone charging, and a VTOL mobile power station (external power output).
Regarding safety, the new model comes standard with dual front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, far-side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags.
For performance, it retains the same powertrain as the current model, featuring a single motor with a maximum output of 150 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.3 seconds. It is powered by a BYD lithium iron phosphate Blade Battery, offering a CLTC range of 430km and 510km, with a fast charging time of 0.5 hours (30%-80%).
