New Tesla Model S to Launch Later This Year with Upgrades
According to reports, Tesla’s Vice President of Engineering has confirmed that the new Model S will be launched later this year. Recently, a speculative rendering of the new Model S has been created, showcasing a design that perfectly inherits the styling language of the new Model Y. However, this is for reference only, as no one can truly predict Tesla’s next design direction.
From the rendering, the new Model S features a brand-new daytime running light design with light strips of varying thicknesses and a split-headlight setup that integrates with the air intake.

On the side, the car retains its classic coupe-like silhouette with a sleek and dynamic body shape. It sports large wheels and continues to use frameless doors.
At the rear, the vehicle incorporates a full-width projection-style taillight similar to the Model Y, along with a ducktail spoiler on the upper section. The rear bumper also looks highly sporty.
In terms of performance, the powertrain is expected to remain unchanged. The dual-motor version delivers a maximum output of 442 kW, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 715 km. The tri-motor Plaid version boasts a maximum output of 590 kW, with a CLTC range of 672 km.
