Hongqi HS7 PHEV: 1102km Range, Luxury Unveiled
We learned from relevant channels that the Hongqi HS7 PHEV will officially launch at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show on 30 August. As a medium-large SUV, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, it has a CLTC working condition combined range of 1102km, CLTC working condition pure electric range of 100km, and WLTC working condition combined fuel consumption of 1.67L/100km.
In terms of appearance, the Hongqi HS7 PHEV is highly consistent with the fuel version of the model as a whole, and the front face is still the familiar large-size straight waterfall grille with a split headlight design. In addition to the tail mark PHEV logo, it is equipped with 20-inch low wind resistance wheels, and a tire size 235/55 R20. body dimensions length, width, and height were 4995/1960/1760mm, wheelbase of 2920mm, also consistent with the fuel version.
Inside, the new car still adopts the combination of a 12.6-inch center control screen and 12.3-inch LCD instruments and also has a head-up display system, and the interior decoration is dominated by piano lacquer as well as matte metal trim, which accentuates a sense of luxury while not lacking a sense of technology.
In terms of features, it will offer a 12-speaker Danner stereo and L2-level driver assistance with a heated steering wheel, wireless charging for mobile phones, panoramic video, driver’s seat memory, heated and ventilated front seats, and air conditioning vents for all three rows. The new car will also be available in 6-seat as well as 7-seat variants for consumers to choose from.
Power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T engine and dual motor plug-in hybrid system, maximum power of 358 kW, of which the engine maximum power of 120 kW, the maximum power of the front motor of 168 kW, the maximum power of the rear motor of 70 kW, the vehicle external discharge of 3.3 kW, equipped with DC fast charging. It is equipped with ‘4 engines and 8 modes’ driving modes, which can be switched between pure electric four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive, series four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive, energy recovery four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive, and parallel four-wheel drive/two-wheel drive. It has a combined range of 1102km under CLTC conditions, a pure electric range of 100km under CLTC conditions, a combined fuel consumption of 1.67L/100km under WLTC conditions, a fuel consumption of 5.7L/100km under CLTC conditions, and an acceleration of 0-100km/h in 6.8 seconds.
