Aito M8: A New SUV Set to Bridge M7 and M9
We learned in early January that the new mid-to-large SUV from the Aito brand—Aito M8 was revealed. The vehicle adopts a slightly refined version of the existing Aito family design style, giving it a more recognizable shape. The rear features a full-width taillight, and there are expectations that pixel lights, similar to those on the M9, will be added to the sides. These lights can display customizable patterns, enhancing the emotional value for users.
In terms of size, the new vehicle measures 5190/1999/1795mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 3105mm. The tire sizes are 255/50R20, 275/50R20, 265/45R21, and 285/45R21. As for the powertrain, the Aito M8 is equipped with a 1.5T extended-range power system. The engine has a maximum power output of 118kW, with a WLTC fuel consumption of 0.53L/100km and 0.52L/100km. Notably, the vehicle is also equipped with front and rear dual motors, with peak motor power of 165kW at the front and 227kW at the rear.
