Deepal S05: Stylish, Luxurious, and Advanced
Official pictures of the interior of the Deepal S05 were announced. The interior of the new car still adopts a relatively simple design style, and the center console, door panels, and other places use many soft materials for wrapping, combined with orange as the main color scheme, to create a textured interior atmosphere. It is understood that the Deepal S05 will provide pure electric and extended-range power options, and is expected to be officially launched in the third quarter of this year at the earliest.
According to the official drawings announced this time, the Deepal S05 continues the more simple family design style and canceled the traditional instrument panel, instead of using a large size HUD head-up display system, with a large size floating screen and three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with a flat-bottomed overall sense of technology. In addition, the car also adopts a penetrating air vent design and will be equipped with the latest intelligent car machine system.
At the same time, the Deepal S05 is also decorated with metal elements in the center console and other details, and it is not equipped with a traditional gearshift lever but adopts a pocket-shift style gearshift mechanism, which is not only more convenient to operate but also further enhances the space utilization of the center console in the front row. In addition, the new car is also equipped with high-grade leather perforated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and other comfort features.
In terms of appearance, the Deepal S05, positioned as a compact SUV, continues the simple and stylish family design language. In the front part, the closed center mesh is the mainstream design element of the current new energy models, and the sharp LED headlamps on both sides of the front end together with the bulging rib lines on the hood also make its visual feeling more ferocious. It is worth mentioning that the new car can also be equipped with an optional LiDAR system.
The sides of the new car also adopt a relatively simple styling design, not only with hidden door handles but also with black trim around the windows, with blackened wheel bars and side skirt components, creating a strong sense of fashion. At the rear, the slim and slender through-type taillight cluster has a striking Deepal logo in the center, which is highly recognizable when lit, while the roof spoiler assembly and wide rear surround enhance the visual sense of hierarchy at the rear of the vehicle.
In terms of body dimensions, the length, width, and height of the Deepal S05 are 4620/1900/1600mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2880mm. In terms of power, the new car will be available in two power forms: pure electric and extended range. Among them, the pure electric version will be equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 175kW; the extended-range version will be equipped with a power system consisting of a 1.5-litre range extender with a maximum power of 72kW and a drive motor with a maximum power of 160kW.
