BYD Seagull 2025: New Models, Enhanced Features
On August 1, 2025, BYD Seagull officially listed, the new car launched a total of three models, as a small modification model, the new car’s overall appearance design changes are not big but will be optimized and upgraded for the model configuration.
In terms of appearance, the new car is still a continuation of the design of the old model, with a closed front grille with a powerful headlamp group style, the interior is also equipped with a longitudinal layout of the dual-spoke LED daytime running light group. The new car is surrounded by trapezoidal heat dissipation openings, both sides of the outer eight-style design make the new car more sporty. Body dimensions, the new car length, width, and height of 3780/1715/1540mm, wheelbase of 2500mm.
On the side of the body, the new car uplifts the body waistline, and the door concave a two-color fascia design, so that the new car shows a better sense of power, and the Freedom Edition and Flying Edition replaced the new wheel style. It is worth mentioning that the new car’s biggest change is the tail “BUILD YOUR DREAMS” into a “BYD” LOGO, visually more concise.
In terms of interior, the new car is still equipped with a 7-inch full LCD dashboard and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the center console is equipped with a 10.1-inch DiLink adaptive rotating central control screen. Configuration, the new car is equipped with a comfort braking function, reversing camera, Bluetooth key, wireless charging, and so on. In terms of intelligent configuration, the new car is equipped with BYD Intelligent Cloud Service, voice interaction system, OTA car machine upgrade, and so on.
In terms of power, the new car will use a front single-motor system with a maximum power of 55 kW and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. The power battery has 30.08kWh and 38.88kWh options, with a range of 305km and 405km under CLTC conditions.
