10 Popular EVs At The Beijing Auto Show
The Beijing Auto Show was about to restart again after a four-year absence, and it ushered in a bloody April.
We have compiled 10 high-profile new energy models, which represent the “aggressive” product power of each brand camp.
2024 NIO ET7
Based on retaining the old design ideas, it has added Moonlight Silver exterior color, Pamir Brown interior color, 21-inch glorious wheels, executive tail mark “EXECUTIVE EDITION”, 8295 chip, NOMI GPT, NIO Link executive screen, etc.
In particular, the rear “Flying Flight” executive seats, which are of the same origin as the ET9, have been upgraded in terms of adjustment angle, support, and seat massage mode.
Mercedes-Benz pure electric G-Class
As a major transformation in the 45-year history of the G-Class, the all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric G-Class will become the “leading” car in the lineup of the Mercedes-Benz Beijing Auto Show.
The all-electric G-Class continues the hard-core off-road style of the Mercedes-Benz Big G and also incorporates the characteristic elements of the EQ family. Such as the Mercedes-Benz EQG and the Maybach EQS SUV.
The new car will use a non-load-bearing body structure, equipped with four electric motors, realize independent control of four wheels, and support functions such as in-place turning, and is expected to be the first model of Sila’s silicon-based anode battery.
Stelato S9
The third type of the HarmonyOS Intelligence Alliance, Stelato, is finally about to launch its flagship debut. The Stelato S9 is positioned as a medium and large executive sedan, with a length, width, and height of 5160/1987/1486mm, a wheelbase of 3050mm, and a maximum output of 385kW in the four-wheel drive version.
The design of the Stelato S9 follows the family design of the M9, which can be seen in the front face, headlights, tail lights, wheels, etc.
However, the temperament of the Stelato S9 is different from that of the Aito M9, and it is also different from the Luxeed S7, and the overall administrative attributes are relatively strong, pointing to the “78S” iron triangle.
Xiaomi SU7
It is not an exaggeration to describe the Xiaomi SU7 as “highly anticipated”, and the reason why this new car, which has already been delivered, is included in the inventory is that it has a prominent topic and breakthrough popularity.
When everyone goes to see the car, perhaps it is mainly because of the offline “close contact”. The new highlight at the auto show is that Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi Group, will be the keynote speaker to reveal the latest developments and plans of Xiaomi Auto.
Leapmotor C16
Leapmotor will bring its first “MPSUV” at the Beijing Motor Show.
The concept of “MPSUV” is Leapmotor’s confidence in this model, setting the tone of “like an SUV, as big as an MPV”, which is essentially a medium and large SUV.
The Leapmotor C16 adopts a six-seat layout, providing dual power of extended range and pure electric power, with a body length, width, and height of 4915/1905/1770mm and a wheelbase of 2825mm, while the pure electric version adopts a single-motor layout with a maximum motor power of 215kW and a top speed of 160km/h.
Although it has not yet been officially announced, it is expected that the LEAP 3.0 platform technology, 800V architecture, 8295 chip, Clover electronic and electrical architecture, and NAP intelligent high-speed navigation will be on the C16.
ZEEKR MIX
ZEEKR will bring a unique style car – ZEEKR MIX. It is a compact pure electric MPV, based on the Haohan-M architecture, with a length, width, and height of 4688/1995/1755mm, and a wheelbase of 3008mm based on a car length of less than 4.7 meters, which means that the interior space is relatively considerable.
The overall silhouette of the ZEEKR MIX retains the temperament of the ZEEKR concept car M-Vision, and the front face follows the Hidden Energy design language on the 007 car.
Compared with the business orientation of ZEEKR 009, ZEEKR MIX is more family-oriented, and the official tone is to “create a new family travel lifestyle”.
Volvo EX30
Volvo is bringing a new entry-level SUV, the EX30.
The new car measures 4233/1838/1555mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2650mm, and was declared in September last year with two single-motor versions and one dual-motor version, with the dual-motor version having a maximum power of 315kW.
The fastest 000 acceleration time of the new car is 3.6s, lithium iron phosphate battery or ternary lithium battery can be selected, and the maximum range of CLTC is 590km.
The EX30 maintains the Swedish brand’s usual minimalist style, with a self-explanatory center console configuration, a 12.3-inch center console, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a narrow display behind the steering wheel.
It is worth mentioning that the cabin of the Volvo EX30 uses recyclable materials and pays attention to “restraint”, which may be a natural difference from the luxury pursued by the domestic market. The balance between brand insistence and market orientation is a question that Volvo wants to answer.
DENZA Z9 GT
The Z9 GT is positioned as a hunting flagship and is expected to offer both pure electric and plug-in hybrid power, having previously declared a pure electric version. According to the declaration information, the new car has a length, width, and height of 5180/1990/1500mm (1480mm) and a wheelbase of 3125mm, which is quite dynamic as a whole.
Compared with the front face, the rear of the Z9 GT has a richer sense of hierarchy, with a more recognizable LED taillight shape, a partition design, and the DENZA logo in the middle, and the rear windshield tilt angle and rear spoiler size are relatively flamboyant.
One of the highlights of the Z9 GT is that it is equipped with three front and rear motors, officially called “e3”, with a front and rear layout, with a peak power of 230kW/240kW/240kW and a combined power of 710kW.
As a flagship model, air suspension, LiDAR, urban NOA, and other configurations will probably also be applied to the Z9 GT.
The all-new electric MINI

Exeed Sterra ET
Sterra ET will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show as a new starting point for the family.
From the perspective of the extended range market, the Sterra ET has many “aggressive” configurations, such as the extended range version of the CLTC pure electric range of 200km, comprehensive range of 1500km, and the gasoline-electric rate of 3.65kWh/L, and the pure electric version of the whole series of 800V, the first Shenxing super rechargeable battery, and the claimed peak charging power of 420kW, etc.
Compared with the leading Sterra ES, ET follows Chery’s E0X platform technology, gimbal chassis, NEP intelligent driving assistance, and other configurations, and has a higher degree of completion, and the product sequence, architecture capabilities, and power layout are more mature.
