Deepal L07: Futuristic Design, Advanced Features
Deepal L07 was unveiled at the Tianjin Auto Show a few days ago. For reference, the Deepal L07 is available in six models, offering both a purely electric version and an extended-range version, with the first 3C fast charger, and an extended-range model with a purely electric range of up to 300km.
A brief review of the new car’s exterior shows that the Deepal L07 is very similar in styling to its SL03. The L07’s front face is relatively simple, with the front surround redesigned, and the complex dot-matrix LED light sources on both sides canceled in favor of a more minimalist, sporty style. At the same time, it is available in Green, White, Grey, Black, and Blue body color schemes.
On the side, the Deepal L07 features frameless doors, electrically hidden door handles, and 19-inch wheels, while the pure electric version has a new three-spoke low wind resistance design. The car’s rear has a good degree of recognition, with a luminous tail logo integrated into the center of the electric lifting rear spoiler that comes standard across the entire range, and unique styling on both sides of the penetrating LED taillights. In the speed-sensitive mode, the rear spoiler will automatically lift if the vehicle speed reaches 90km/h. When the speed reaches 170km/h, it can provide 145N of downforce for the whole car. Regarding body dimensions, its length, width, and height are 4875/1890/1480mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.
Walking into the car, you will find that the Deepal L07 has canceled the LCD gauges and replaced them with a 55-inch AR-HUD head-up display system, and the center screen is a 15.6-inch 2.5K sunflower screen, with the screen being able to be deflected by about 15 degrees. In addition to this, the steering wheel, interior trim panels, and door handles have been redesigned to create a cleaner style overall.
In terms of comfort features, the Deepal L07 comes standard with a passenger zero-gravity seat, while the main driver zero-gravity seat is an option, which includes 16-way power adjustment, sleep headrests, 120-degree seat recline, 8-point zoned back massage, ventilated/heated, and seat memory/welcome function. Meanwhile, the car should offer the optional Quality Delight cabin package, which includes 22 speakers, a 7.1.4 soundtrack, Music Rhythm System, Intelligent Fragrance, 64-color ambient lighting, double-layer acoustic glass in the front, and automatic anti-glare interior mirrors. It is worth mentioning that the front seats can actively vibrate with the sound, creating an effect similar to a ‘4D cinema’.
L07 car equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, the system supports voice assistant, QQ music, Gaode map, Youku video, miku video, dragonfly FM, Sohu news, Himalaya, aqiyi, bilibili, etc., and also supports HiCar4.0/Carlink1.5/Carplay mobile phone interconnection.
In terms of Smart Driving, one of the highlights of Deepal L07 is the Huawei Qian Kun Smart Driving ADS SE solution. It should be noted that this solution does not have LiDAR, and can achieve high-speed navigation assistance, urban cruise assistance, and intelligent parking assistance, and currently does not have the function of urban navigation. Its high-speed navigation assistance covers 98% of the high speed, supporting intelligent lane change, intelligent obstacle avoidance, intelligent cornering, intelligent speed adjustment, and intelligent on and off ramps; urban cruise assistance can mainly achieve intelligent signal light control, toggle lever lane change, and lane cruise function.
Power, Deepal L07 range extender version has 230MAX and 300MAX two versions, are equipped with 1.5L range extender, the system integrated maximum power of 160kW and 190kW, respectively, the integrated peak torque of 320Nm, CLTC feeder fuel consumption of 3.94L/100km and 4.04L/100km, respectively, CLTC working condition integrated range of 1330km and 1400km, corresponding to a pure electric range of 230km and 300km (fuel tank volume 45L). The pure electric version has a maximum power of 185kW, a peak torque of 310Nm, and a CLTC range of 530km.
